It is a older Xircom nic card (wired) the CD found it and installed it, but
it did not leave the information on the setup. I can see in the original log
files where it loaded pcmcia-cs and further down the log I see where it loads
the Xircom driver, so it was all there on the CD, but it did not leave it that
way, indeed after it got the network up and running it invoked apt-get and
pulled down more stuff off of the internet.

Neither the pcmcia driver nor the Xircom driver was left on the system once
the CD finished the install and exited..
