Too bad. CompUSA didn't have the best service or the best people, or even
the best inventory. And lately, they started selling TVs and such to make
ends meet. But they were convenient and had a lot of stock in things that
frequently break, like hard drives, power supplies, cables, etc. You could
get those things by mail order or internet, but sometimes it's the weekend
and you've got to be up and running by Monday.
We'll have to put our heads together and come up with alternatives. Maybe
if we're lucky, someone will buy the ones in our area and keep them
computer stores.
