Dual-boot only if there is something that you _have_ to access in hardware,
and a VM won't cut it. Otherwise, run 64bit Linux natively and 32bit inside
VMware. My instructor a term or two ago did that. That is, if Linux takes
less than half your RAM. Me, I got 64bit hardware but at the time I
couldn't get a 64bit installer to run.
