Would it also uninstall those 68 packages? Among them I saw synaptic and
evince and it'd suck to lose those and 66 others. I hold no expectation
that apt-get could actually _do_ it (it'd probably hit a snag before it got
that far), but still.

FTR, I installed Pan on the laptop, no problem. Except that I'd rather have
it here, that is.
