How would I create a sparse (no allocated storage) file? Reason: I've got
a Bit Torrent client that lets me pick and choose which files to download.
Its normal file allocation mode saves space when a torrent is partially
downloaded, but all the chunks are crammed together. There is an alternate
storage method that allocates all the files from the get-go, and then fills
them in as you go. However, it allocates _all_ of them, even if you're only
getting a few, and all of them won't fit. I figure that if I go behind its
back and replace the files with sparse ones, it should fit.
