You cant stop anyone from conducting slander.
But sometimes you can make it cost them.
Years ago I tracked down some spam using instructions from

and

Reporting it through the proper channels and authorities must have scored some pain, because my domain was quickly joe jobbed.
The joe jobbing aggravated me until I eventually linked to the instructions above on my domain home page. It was an instant fix. Spammers and joe jobbers learn quick when they shoot their own foot.
