I had the same problem with my xbox 360. I did not feel like paying anything
to be able to use wireless with my xbox and i happened to have a free fonera
router on hand.
I installed DD-WRT on my fonera router and set it up as a client-bridge.
Then, I hooked up my xbox via ethernet to the fonera rounter and had the
router connect to my regular wireless network. I can use xbox live and
everything works fine.
You can do that with any router - see if fonera still send free routers. If
not, you can buy a cheap router, install DD-WRT on it and use at as whatever
you want.
