I am setting up and configuring a Toshiba laptop with Windows XP for my
mother-in-law who lives in another state. She will have little to no free
technical support so I am attempting to set up the computer and make it as
simple as possible for a Windows machine.
One of the things I want to do is to be able to remote into the computer and
control desktop to perform tasks. My main computer now is a lenovo T61
Thinkpad with Ubuntu installed. I currently have a Windows XP desktop but my
goal is to remove XP by the end of the year and put a version of Linux or
BSD on it.
Does anyone have any advice and/or experience on what would be a good
program to install so I can run the target XP laptop from my Ubuntu
Thinkpad?
