How do those compare to running within Virtualbox or any of the other vmware
or virtual PC type products? Virtualbox has come in quite handy.

Those interested in the small cautious steps to Linux might also be
interested in wubi. It's included with the official Ubuntu live CDs since
Ubuntu 8.04, installs and can be removed from Windows (Add/Remove programs),
and skips the partitioning step by installing itself into a file within your
existing Windows partitions.

That said, I've just heard a bit about wubi... never tried it. I think
you're still booting one the other.
