The unit is made to be portable, the battery is rechargeable via a
mini-usb connection. The unit contains a MTK MT3318, 32 channel GPS
receiver and seems to be fairly sensitive. According to the web specs,
the accuracy is 'Position - 3 m, Velocity - 0.1 m/sec, Position - 2.2 m
( With EGNOS )', personal experience it has to do more with the maps
than the absolute accuracy of the GPS itself.
