Hi Michael!

Well, it's Sunday and a lot of folks do other things than computer on
Sunday. You *could* look at the Ubuntu forums if you really want to.
Don't expect too much, though. Ubuntu is keeping a lot of stuff out of
ordinary view, have to really dig to get it.

Do you remember the posts on dual monitors? It seems that Ubuntu has
taken to putting a lot of settings in the kernel and not making much use
of the xorg.conf. That said, you could *try* regenerating the xorg.conf,
the regenerating command is in the file as a comment. While you are in
there, see what it says about your mouse, probably not much.

Why did you recently upgrade to 8.04, considering that 8.10 has been
superseded by 9.04? I have 9.04, my mouse is fine. YMMV, of course.
