Well if he was changing his MAC, the DHCP server (in the router) would
give a different lease. Not sure what would happen if you did a
DHCP-release (that 'dhcpcd -n' would do) from a MAC that the lease
wasn't assigned to. That would be server dependent. It could do
anything from being harmless to confusing the router further.
