Ok, now I am getting tired of doing this every time I login to my PC. I set
the resolution to 1280x1024 but every time the PC starts up it is 1024x768.
I don't want it.
This is what I do:
System-->Administration-->NVIDIA X Server Settings-->X Server Display
Configuration-->Resolution:from Auto to 1280x1024

I have tried to save the changes in the NVIDIA settings but it get this
error message:Unable to create new X config backup file
'/etc/x11/xorg.conf.backup'

I am running 64 ubuntu 9.04.

Do I need to chmod something?

William
