I got a Dell Mini9 for $200. It's completely fanless and doesn't have a
mechanical drive. In addition, you can take it wherever you want. I'm
not sure how the audio quality is through the jack - I've only listened
to the horrible speakers. If it's bad, you can get a USB sound adapter
thing.
