[SLUG] USB power drain

I have several Christmas-themed USB gadgets with LEDs inside. How can I
read out the amount of power they use? In Windows the Device Manager tells
you but I have no idea how to do it here. /proc/bus/usb is empty when there
are no USB devices connected to the data wires (which these don't). I know
LEDs don't use a lot of power, but I'd like to know when I'm about to need a
powered hub.
