Folks,
I purchased a Atheros AR5007EG for my Lenovo S10 I got tired of not being
able to use Kismet on the machine due to the limitations of the Broadcom
drivers (what a bunch of sobadores) I got the card in the mail yesterday, put
it in and now not only do I have a nice little machine that will allow me to run
Kismet capturing AP info, I also now have a MUCH more sensitive receiver,
this device sees devices the Broadcom card never saw. I got the thing for
$9.49 from Hong Kong, took a while to get here but it was worth it.
I was setting in a park near my home with the laptop, it had never shown a
network as being visible from that park, the AR5007EG does show two of
them, so it does work very well.
