What is the path the current icon is trying to use?
Can't you just change the command to be /pete/firefox/firefox %u
I would think that should work...
Otherwise try deleting the sym link and remaking it.

Hi Everybody,
After much nagging with pointed messages from firefox - as in it would

OK, I uninstalled 3.0. Now firefox won't run at all, even after I
reinstall 3.5. Is mozilla turning into M$?

Hi Guys,

Reinstalled again: got this error:

It doesn't show on the menu and the icon is not in the tray. However, if I navigate to it's directory /pete/firefox/ and click on the firefox simlink it starts and runs fine.

How can I get it back in the menu and get the icon onto the tray?
