I did and I get the following, but in the instructions they only indicate to
do the make, but thinking that perhaps they assumed that one was to
do the ./configure I did so, it says :
kp4djt@taquito:~/vloopback-1.3> ./configure
bash: ./configure: No such file or directory

Perhaps I am missing it.
