You can try just adding them and running "sensors -s" as root. Check lsmod
to see if they're loaded. If not, "modprobe i2c-i801 ; modprobe lm85 ;
sensors -s" (all as root), and you're set.

Reboot is the Windows way of doing stuff; one almost never needs to reboot
except for hardware changes. Just make sure you do stuff in a way that'll
recur after reboot. You don't want any nasty surprises. Before the last
change (10 days ago), my uptime was around 3 months.
