I've contacted NKS about this. Apparently, someone is sending spam to
select members of this list, masqueraded as list emails. They are not
list emails, but they may look, to some extent, like them. This would be
relatively easy to do-- some spammer signs up for the list, collects
addresses as they post or reply, and then gets off the list.

One way you know they aren't from the actual list is that you're getting
more than one of these emails. The first time I saw someone actually
spamming the list, I would knock them off the list. End of story. And I
haven't seen this happen. One way I know this isn't happening is that
*I'm* not getting these emails. I only see them when they bounce from
your ISPs.

The problem is that some ISPs, noticing these spam emails apparently
coming from our listserv, are now blocking all email from NKS list
servers, in particular Verizon and gte.net. Hopefully, NKS will handle
this shortly.
