What does the first paragraph have to do with the second paragraph? And
if you feel this way, then socialism is your ticket out. The point is
that, whether the ultimate outcome goes your way or not, you still get a
voice. Socialism precludes this.

Bush didn't have a Vietnam record. The difference is that Bush never
lied about his record. In fact, he released all his military records.
Kerry lied, and has refused to release his records. In fact, the DOD has
now called Kerry out for claiming medals he did not win on his website.

Not a question of intelligence. They simply don't. Most people don't
care enough to research it that closely. Most people don't care about
politics. They just want to live their lives and not have the government
in their way doing it. I can't blame them.

BTW, not all cops agree on gun control. Sadly, some believe that more
gun laws will produce fewer criminals. They don't _trust_ ordinary
citizens with guns. Considering the anal exam one has to undergo in
order to get a concealed weapons permit, they should.

Socialism is a thought never thought completely through. In practice,
socialism is a disaster. People who believe in socialism want to believe
in a future that could never be. In general, they don't reason well.
Like the people of PETA or ELF, these are people with a single-minded
intent which has little to do with actual reality. And in fact, many of
these fringe groups are supported by people who support socialism, but
whose real intent is the destruction of America or democracy. Much like
the Islamic terrorists.

By the way... let me repeat something I said to someone earlier in
private. People who claim to have no political agenda are generally
lying. People who truly have no political agenda generally avoid
political discussions and don't comment. People who claim no agenda but
comment politically generally _do_ have a political agenda. In general,
that agenda is either 1) liberal; 2) seeks to be provocative for the
sake of provocation; 3) seeks to erode American democratic values and
replace them with anarchist, chaotic, amoral values.
