Make sure you're using the _absolute latest_ version of XFree86 v4.
Maybe even get and build it from CVS. Rage Mobility chipset support is
very new and probably still has some bugs to be worked out. If you're
using an older version of XFree86 v4, or XFree86 v3, you will have
problems and there's not a lot you can do about it.
