Um Bill even IRC client have the ability to log whats happening and save
them to text files each file has only what you have discussed privatly with
another user such as a querry it also saves channel conversations

in you options look for loggin and set a log root folder and it should log
everything logs are good incase some one was causing trouble or if you
explained to some somthing and they didnt quite get it you can DCC them the
log and they can re read it
