I've broken my installation of mysql. At he advice of a text book, the
first thing I did was to change the mysql password. now no users can login
to mysql (not root either.) I reinstalled the package, but I still have the
same problem. How I destroy the root password when logged in at the console
as root? Alternatively, how do I completely remove the installation of
mysql?
