I think this is a real time OS that can be embedded in a small device, or
used on a PC. I think it is unix based. Their site, which I assume you've
been to by now used to have a demo you could download, and I think it ran
from a floppy disk. It booted from the floppy and started some kind of gui
and a browser I think; it's been a while since I've seen it, but the demo
actually worked. Also I think there is a device where I work that uses qnx,
but it is real stripped down. It just starts several protocols and passes
packets from wired to wireless (RF terminal on a forklift).
