I feel that it was a nice jester what you did. How ever for you to lash back
out
towards everyone for a few whom did not like the idea is not a cool way to
handle things.
Next as Paul stated it is a time for us whom wanted to use this to use it
and
simply those who do not wish to use it then don't. Many took the way you
were
putting things as that they had to use it. It is time for the backlash to
stop on this
list. We are suppose to remember this is for enjoyment not for someone who
wants to criticize and all to act like kids no matter what our age.
You also need to realize there is a lot of not only new to Linux users but
even a few
new to the world of P.C.s. Yes believe this or not we have a few. The IRC
stuff is
cool how ever you will get a few whom once they experience a few bad times
to
be reluctant to use this. Again you do not have to use this no one is
forced.
I also feel that if you take a survey in less then a month period that a few
will put negative
responses. WE ALL NEED TO GIVE IT TIME! Again stop lashing out. We have a
list for that,
if you want to go to that part and do so that is what it is for.
If you feel disappointed then do not act so in anger. If you are against it
then again it will show
by not using this. S.L.U.G. is about a bunch of people whom want to be part
of a community
that we want to build supporting GNU/LINUX and Open Source. I consider this
to be my
Open Source family. This is why I got involved to part of something great
and to put in my share.
We can preach the gospel and stand together. How ever we can not stand
together if we are at war with each other!
Any ways I will be on there later tonight or this weekend to hang out for a
bit. If I see any bashing I will simply not go
back to it.
As for the apologies they don't mean anything if anger is still expressed.
