I, for one, am sorry your feelings have been hurt. There is never an excuse for that. What I would suggest in way of response is to point out that language must by its very nature be very specific and it's use therefor must also very specific, if we are to get our point across. It is far too easy to misinterpret ones meaning, if the words used are not used properly. We learn by programming computers that we must be very specific if our programs are to work at all,,, and that detailed nature carries over in to our daily lives.

It does not matter what job you take, the ability to communicate with the customer is of utmost importance, and we do that throught our use of language. I do not know if English is your primary language or not, but most of us are guilty of lacking multilingual capabilities. I am embarassed everytime I meet someone who is able to speak more than his or her primary language,,,because for all the knowledge I have,,, I am able to communicate only in English. But I try to do the best with what I have.

I, too, have had difficulty reading your posts,, but to your credit,,,you still try and that is the mark of someone who knows what he wants and you should be commended for that. Keep trying, and just as you learn and grow in the IS field, your communication skills will also improve.

  Good Luck,
