Since I am using RH, that is the only frame of reference I have. I initially
bought one of those RH Bibles with the 3 cd's. I could not get it to install.
It kept locking up. No nothing. I had to simply power off
(ARRRGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I took it back and bought the boxed
set. I still had problems like you describe. If your hard disk is properly
formatted, how are you entering the partition info? I screwed that up about 4
times before I got the hang of it. I am for sure an experienced installer at
this point. I am surprised you get no messages. The WIN installs, are they
recent? Have you tried the minimum configuration install? Failing all else,
bring it to the next meeting. These guys seem to be able to solve almost
anything....................................leo.
