It's an analysis if and "proof of concept" tool on how Microsoft
generates the activation keys for Windows XP. The tool lets you try
making your own activation keys to see that the associated whitepaper is
an accurate analysis of how they work.

Some might call it research into cryptography (proof that security
through obscurity is so invalid), or documentation on how Microsoft will
decide whether or not you need a new license key for XP (based on how
many hardware changes you are "allowed" before the key needs "renewing")
and a few narrow-minded individuals might see it as something that
violates the DMCA or something.

In any case, it's probably something work keeping around yourself.

It's probably on Freenet by now anyway. (hint hint...)
