Well, only a little. The problem is that the school where I volunteer is
flush with cash. They don't really need donations of old equipment. On the
other hand, Metropolitan Ministries or some other group such as that may well
be able to use these types of machines for training people. I'm sure it would
be just a phone call to them to ask what they need or want. (After all, we
should only give them what they need or want: a couple of years ago, after a
major hurricane in central america, a large number of donations from the US
consisted of sweaters and coats and other cold weather clothes that were
totally useless in the tropics...)

I just spoke with my mother who works for the Division of Blind Services
about what they could use and she said she would look into what they need and
see if there are other organizations that might be appropriate to have
receive our extra stuff...
