very strange. Must have been some process chewing up cpu time. A sendmail
process completed (as evident by a mail drop.) then webmin works ok. Now I
need to find what process is chewing up cpu time. what logs would provide
the best info?

Subject: [SLUG] webmin problem

After a reboot because of the nic problem I post earlier (the thread started
with the subject of remote access via a modem) resolved webmin access is
ungodly slow. Can't say they are related. Webmin listens to port 10000,
whereas SWAT listens to port 901. SWAT works ok, webmin does not. What's
the best places to look for the cause to the problem? Terminating the
process, then reinstalling webmin, seems so windows-esque. What are some
other recommended =web based admin utilities?
