Hi Paul,
1. Are you unmounting each floppy before removing it from computer? (data
buffers are written to floppy and flushed on unmount )
2. Does floppy read okay on computer that created it? (use creator to vefify
data and alignment check)
Good luck,
Mr. Bill

| I'm transferring files between home and work on floppies. Both machines
| are Linux (Red Hat and Debian). I'm getting sporadic I/O errors on
| pretty much all my floppies (brand new). I assume this means one or both
| drives are out of alignment or screwed up in some way. Anyone know of a
| command or something that will tell me _which_ one is screwing up?

| Paul
