I use the HP 500lx and it works great with Red Hat, Mandrake, and (95
and 2000).

I use it with an HP (combo scanner/printer/fax/copier), Tecktronics, and
a proofing printer. With no problems.

Subject: [SLUG] print servers

Hello Sluggers

I was surfing around over the weekend and found Linksys EFSP42 -
EtherFast Switched 2-Port Print Server that looks good. I have a small
home network with both SuSe 7.1 machines and Win98 (my work laptop) and
Win2K (wife's work laptop). I was wondering if anyone has had any
experience with this particular print server or any others that will
support both Linux and Win OS's. This particular print server requires
IPX protocol which I don't know anything about, other than it is
available on the Win machines. I also found a Netgear server that
states that it supports *nix (PS110). Ideas?

TIA
