I agree MS is a greedy and monopolistic entity that needs to be humbled more
often (code red and other security incidents).
It just seems too often we get caught up with platforms/flavors kinda like
my chevy is better than your ford - I do not mean you specifically just a
generalization.
I am all for Linux and Unix making it to more desktops.
