Why are you upset? The courts clearly were not going to support a
breakup and many of the original complaints had been rendered moot.
This strategy allows Ashcroft to negotiate with M$ saying that if they
do not make necessary concessions re. XP that he will hammer them
with a new lawsuit ... one better constructed than the former.
Looks to me that this prevents the over-involvement of government in
private industry (socialism), allows M$ to continue alienating customers
(to the benefit of Linux), and still provides some monopolistic relief.
Win-win-win ... :-)
Off to teach American Federal Government ... and to twist up those
"skulls full of mush" as Rush calls them!
