[SLUG] Non-Linux Technical List Now Taking Subscribers!

LUGs are some of the best places for general technical knowledge.
And while many of us prefer Linux in all our endeavors, many of us
still run into lot of non-Linux/OSS technical issues, be it Windows,
hardware evaluation, networking, etc... Many local PC/Windows user
groups are filled with less than technical users and/or are little
more than "people networking" groups or "freebie-a-thon" / "vendor
dominated" meeings -- so they are a less than ideal support avenue
for many of us. At the same time, posting non-Linux questions to
Linux list with a wealth of talent might be a good way to get good
answers, but they are often quite off-topic and only lead to
meta-discussions on list focus.

So for some of you seeking technical knowledge at FLU, JAXLUG, LEAP
and SLUG, of a non-Linux/OSS nature, Phil Barnett, co-founder and
former president of LEAP has graciously donated space on his
mail/list server. He has setup a list called "PC_Support" you may
wish to consider joining here:

http://www.matrixlist.com/mailman/listinfo/pc_support

We offer this list as an avenue for technical support of a non-Linux
or non-OSS nature for those of you who belong to LUGs in the
north/central Florida area. Use this list to ask the questions that
you cannot on a Linux list. Use this list as a "first contact"
point to reach out to frustrated Windows users. Use this list as
you see fit, when it serves purposes outside of Linux/OSS-relevant
support.

Thank you in advance for your consideration.
