ifcfg-eth0 file has only one alias line for eth0
modules.conf has "alias eth0 dmfe" line in it
etc/sysconfig/ntwork has:networking=yes,hostname=fqdn,gatewaydev="eth0",gateway=10.0.0.100,forward_ipv4="no"
