Here's a template to start with:
   alias eth0 3c509
   options 3c509 io=xxx irq=x
Download the 3c5x9cfg.exe program from 3com.  Boot DOS clean
(Shift-F5 at Windows 9x boot), and run it.  It will spit out the IO
and IRQ settings.
