summary --
Linus will release up to 2.4.15 then open the 2.5.x branch.. the
2.5 branch will have Andreas (2.4.10+) VM in it.. but Alan Cox is going
to be the maintainer of 2.4.x and will be free to do what he wants with
the VM, this includes going to Rik Van Riel's VM which is still in use in
the 2.4.x-ac* branch..
