If Linux software RAID flakes out - you get in touch with the developers
and send email back and forth until they figure out the problem and fix
it.
If your "firmware" RAID flakes out - you suck wind because the hardware
company doesn't want to hear from you and isn't willing to tell the
Linux IDE guys the time of day much less how their chipsets work...
