(Discussion about VNC settings clipped)
The sysad at school said he couldn't spare the ram to run X on the
school Linux server (386-25 with 16M ram) but suggested I might like
using VNC to run my home box from school.
Woooohooooo! Was he ever right!
I still am not clear how to tunnel it through ssh ... but I certainly
had a blast running my home box from school in graphics mode even
though restricted to twm as my GUI. Tomorrow, I should be running
KDE, instead, and hopefully I will have access to the icons on my
desktop since it is a royal pain putting stuff in the menus.
