Mike,
You should see a pluginstall.sh file in the install directory of
RealPlayer (for me it is located in ~/RealPlayer8/). By default running
this script installs the plugin files in ~/.netscape/plugins/, but I
since I am running Netscape 6.2, I manually copied the two files
referenced in the script -- rpnp.so and raclass.zip -- to the
/usr/local/bin/netscape/plugins directory. Works like a charm.
In Opera, I believe there is a plugins' location option in the
preferences where it allows you to add directories to search for
plugins. I don't have Opera installed on this computer, so I can't
direct you to the exact location.
