You know what, I've been avoiding this thread because you've been
posting by-and-large interesting messages, and frankly I didn't care,
but I'm finding your "sea-lawyer" attitude extremely annoying.

You are taking part in a community. If you don't like the way this
community operates, leave. Don't play some dumb game of "The supreme
court says its ok for me to behave the way *I* want to behave around
you, even if you don't agree." In fact, the supreme court has said
nothing about behaviour on mailing lists and you know it. In fact, the
supreme court has said nothing about whether or not I can punch you in
the nose for no reason, but as we all know, I *can* be heald liable for
it, and it's rude to boot. You're being annoyingly pedantic and rude in
your general disregard to the intelligence and attitude of everyone else
on this list, and I find that more offensive than any language you may
or may not have used on this list. Please cut it out or go away.

(If the thread continues in the traditional way, your next step is to
bring up Hitler, at which point you automatically lose.)
