You might want to use NetSaint's SNMP interface (I'm guessing there's a
plugin or even a check_snmp command).

http://www.novell.com/documentation/lg/gw52/mon00001.html tells you
which MIBs to use 'to see the health of [your] GroupWise system at a
glance'.
