If you go to www.gnome.org, you will see a section called Gnome Office
iirc...There you will see various gnome solutions to MS Type Products. iirc
the Power Point alternate was called Achtung.

For MS Access, you probably want something like MySQL or PostGreSQL with a
GNOME-DB front end.
