I got a hint from a fellow on MDLUG. He was able to get a directory listing
by disabling passiv mode on his client. He suggested it was possible that
MSIE was bucking the trend by also having passive mode disabled.
At this point in time, I am looking over my logs for hints (as suggested in
another response) and also looking for a way to make proftpd respond to
passiv mode.
