You don't need to save everything in /usr, since that holds docs, binaries,
and such, that are version and distro specific. But save it anyway, if you
have the space. :-) Somebody please let me know how accurate this is!
Your kmail directory is hidden in a dot file. If you do an ls -a you should
be able to see your .kde and .kderc directories (located in your /home
directory), and then look around from there....
