>From my experience, the smb.conf file only resides in
/usr/local/samba/lib when compiled from source with
--prefix=/usr/local/samba (a default, I believe).
I never have seen SWAT change the pre-compiled (or compiled) location of
smb.conf. If you installed the distro package, it may be a bug.
