The problem there is that it doesn't fail the x setup. That's what is so
odd. During the install X configures and runs just fine. But after the
install reboot X no longer works. I've seen other posts on this through
out the net. Some seem to think it's the Xfree 4.2 as xfree 4.1 seems to
be ok. I guess my only hope is to run in vga mode until the xfree group
decides to fix it. Or I guess I could hone my C skills and try to fix
the drive problem myself :) Ya, right I almost have enough time to try
and install Linux on the Stinkpad.
