I was trying to build ghostscript-7.04.tar.gz to an rpm and received
that weird error message.
There are 3 files referring to hp. One is libsane-hpoj.so.1 then
there is libsane-hp.so.1 and libsane-hp.so.1.0.8
I assumed that the two with hp in them also referred to hewlit packard.
I was actually trying to update my hpoj vs to 9.0 and had to update
foomatic and gs also. Sorry for the lag in getting back to you but I
don't get to check my email on the days I work (two on two off).
